The ERM incremental modular rotary encoders consist of a magnetized circumferential scale drum and a scanning unit with magnetoresistive sensor. These encoders are available for diameters of 80 and 180 mm: Drum inside diameter D1 180 mm 80 mm Outside diameter D2 257.5 mm 128.75 mm Line count 2048 1024 Permissible speed (mech.) 8000 rpm 18000 rpm Typical applications include machines and systems with large hollow-shaft diameters where protection from dust and splashwater is required.
