Setup.ini file incompatibility - Windows NT only (does not affect Windows
        XP)
Due to file incompatibility between QC-5000 v2.20 and v2.31 it is necessary
to rename the previously installed setup.ini file for v2.20. This incompatibility
is the result of the differing architectures of the Windows NT and XP
platforms. At this time, it is necessary for NT users to complete the
        following task prior to installation.

Perform this procedure even if v2.20 has been uninstalled or upgraded since
its installation. To locate v2.20 setup.ini files, conduct the following search
using the Windows search function:
setup.ini. Use the advanced search tab to look
for the following text: 2.20.

To search for and rename v2.20 setup.ini files

Step 1
Click on the windows start menu and select find.
Choose files or folders from the sub-menu. Type the
file name into the text box labeled named. In this
instance, the file name to type is setup.ini.

Step 2
Click on the tab labeled
advanced and type 2.20 in the text box labeled
containing text. Then click on the button labled
find now.

Step 3
If a file is found, rename it by right-clicking on the file and selecting
rename from the menu. Type a new file name. We recommend changing the file
name to setup.bak. This allows you to retrieve the file if it is ever needed.

If no setup.ini file for v2.20 is found it is safe to continue. Make sure you
read the remainder of this document before installing the QC-5000 software.
        Issue 2
Error message - Windows NT only (does not affect Windows XP)
Users may find a message displayed at end of installation indicating an
error has occurred regarding file idriver.exe. It is safe to disregard
this prompt and continue as normal. A follow up message may indicate that
setup is incomplete. Generally, this message does not affect the installation
and can be ignored. If, however, the QC-5000 does not launch properly
after installation, uninstall the QC-5000 using the Windows add/remove
        software function then re-install QC-5000 v2.31.
