The
machine drive moves the slide in proportion to the rotation of
the handwheel. The transmission ratio can be set in a range of
20 mm to 0.02 mm (0.8 in. to 0.0008 in.) per
handwheel revolution.
Besides the HR 410 portable
handwheel there are handwheels for permanent mounting in the
machine panel. An adapter permits the integration of up to three
such handwheels.
