The Taft-Peirce 3-Axis
Reference Square is the perfect tool for checking all three axes of machining centers, and
coordinate measuring machines. It may be also used in applications where there is a need
to check horizontal and/or vertical alignment. A desired feature of this tool is its design simplicity. There are no electrical or mechanical parts to malfunction, adjust, or maintain. The 3-Axis Reference Square greatly simplifies the checking and adjustment of all three axes quickly, easily and accurately without major disruption or loss of productivity. The precision 3-Axis Square is widely used by industry in the alignment of machine tools and special machinery. SPECIFICATIONS Cast of a special grade of cast iron, normalized, finish ground or hand scraped to an accuracy level in which tolerance of all working surfaces are held square to one another within 0.0003" overall.
