All Scienscope instruments are warranted against manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship with the following conditions:

Products

Optical Instruments - Warranted for Five (5) years from original purchase date.

Bases – Warranted for (5) years from original purchase date.

Lighting systems – Warranted for One (1) year from original purchase date.

Cameras – Warranted for One (1) year from original purchase date.

Monitors – Warranted for One (1) year from original purchase date.

Bulbs – No warranty on bulbs.

Coverage

Scienscope will repair or replace, at its option, any instrument which it finds to be defective in material and/or workmanship.  No charge will be made for labor or parts with respect to defects covered under this warranty.

This warranty is voided if the failure of the instrument is caused by abuse, neglect, misuse, improper operation, accident, improper maintenance or modification.  Damage resulting from repair or the attempt of, by an unauthorized party is not covered by the warranty.  An unauthorized party is anyone other than Scienscope.

Service

 Products under this warranty will gladly be serviced by Scienscope.  A (RMA) Return Merchandise Authorization Number must be obtained from Automation and Metrology at 440-354-6436  and asking for the RMA #.  DO NOT send an instrument for repair without first obtaining a RMA #, packages will not be received without an RMA #.
