How to choose
Absolute or incrementalAbsolute encoders (SR67A, SR27A, SQ47/57) report position at power-up over a serial protocol. The incremental SR24 outputs A/B quadrature with a reference point.
Control interfaceProtocols include FANUC, Mitsubishi, YASKAWA and SIEMENS; the SQ57 also offers BiSS-C. Tell us your control when you ask for a quote.
Space and lengthSR27A and SR24 are slim for narrow installation spaces (70 to 2,040 mm). SR67A reaches 3,640 mm and SQ47/SQ57 up to 6,270 mm.
Shop conditionsMagnescale states that its magnetic detection is not affected by condensation or oil. The SQ47/SQ57 is IP67 sealed; the SR24 is IP54 (IP65 with air purge).
