How to choose
Absolute or incrementalST1300, ST700 and AT1100 are absolute and use interface protocols. ST36, ST46-EZA, ST422 and AT211 are incremental.
Exposed or sealedST series scales are exposed. AT211 and AT1100 are sealed, and Mitutoyo describes the AT1100 as highly resistant to oil, water and contamination.
LengthST1300 measures up to 12 m, ST46-EZA and ST422 up to 3,000 mm, AT211 100 to 1,500 mm and AT1100 140 to 2,040 mm.
ResolutionResolution runs from 5 micron down to 0.05 micron on ST46-EZA and AT1100, and 1 nm on the ST1300.
