The complete digital readout package for your lathe. This package replaces the dials on your lathe with the ACU-RITE DRO203 readout and its 7-inch color display, showing both axes at once so you can position accurately without counting dial revolutions.

Which machines it fits
2-axis lathes (engine lathes and toolroom lathes). One scale mounts along the Z axis (carriage travel along the bed) and one along the X axis (cross-slide travel). Choose the kit size that matches your carriage and cross-slide travel; scale lengths are matched to your machine at order.

DRO203 or DRO102? Both share the 7-inch color display and the same precision scales. The DRO203 adds the taper calculator, lock-axis tool offsets and Dynamic Zoom. The DRO102 covers straightforward 2-axis positioning with instant radius/diameter conversion.

How to measure your machine for scales
Move the carriage fully in one direction, mark the bed, then move it fully the other way. Measure between the marks - that distance is your travel.
On a lathe, Z is the carriage travel along the bed and X is the cross-slide travel in-and-out. Measure both axes.
Choose the kit whose scale travel is the same as or longer than your measured travel. We match scale lengths to your machine at order.
Allow about 3.5 inches beyond the travel for the scale body (SENC 150 adds a 1.75 inch overrun at each end), plus clearance for the reading head and cable.
