May 2026 HEIDENHAIN Rotary Encoders catalog, 349529-2S. This supplement applies only to the current model and ID combinations listed below.

ECN 1023 and EQN 1035 use EnDat 22 with 23-bit positions per revolution. ECN 1013 and EQN 1025 use EnDat 01 with 13-bit positions per revolution and 512-line 1 VPP incremental signals. EQN models measure 4096 revolutions. System accuracy is ±60 arc seconds. Blind hollow shaft diameter is 6 mm; permissible axial motion is ±0.5 mm, mechanical speed up to 12000 rpm, protection IP 64, and mass approximately 0.1 kg. Supply is DC 3.6 to 14 V. Maximum operating temperature is 100 °C; minimum is -30 °C with fixed cable and -10 °C with moving cable, subject to catalog speed and supply conditions.
