HEIDENHAIN IBV 6000 Signal Converters
The HEIDENHAIN IBV 6000 series converts 1 VPP incremental encoder signals into two configurable outputs. The outputs can provide TTL or 1 VPP signals, with model-dependent interpolation settings. Send the encoder ID, output interfaces, interpolation requirements and cable details so we can match the correct converter.

- Outputs: two configurable TTL and/or 1 VPP outputs
- Housing: box design, IP65
- IBV 6072: 2-fold interpolation
- IBV 6172: 5-fold or 10-fold interpolation
- IBV 6272: 5-fold or 10-fold, and 20-fold, 25-fold, 50-fold or 100-fold interpolation
- Configuration: output flange-socket wiring sets the output signals and interpolation options
Selection and installation
Match the complete converter ID, encoder input, both required output signals, reference pulse and connector wiring before ordering. Interpolation options differ by model. Confirm cable lengths, power supply and the receiving electronics as part of the configuration.
