HEIDENHAIN TS 750 High-Accuracy Cable Workpiece Touch Probe
The HEIDENHAIN TS 750 is a high-accuracy, cable-connected workpiece touch probe for grinding machines and lathes. It measures workpiece position and dimensions through a mounting base and UTI 150 interface. Request a quote with the probe ID, machine, control and mounting details.
Technical Data
- Probe accuracy: ≤ ±1 µm with the T434 standard stylus at 500 mm/min
- Probing repeatability: 2 σ ≤ 0.25 µm for repeated probing from one direction
- Probing force: approximately 1.5 N axial and 0.2 N radial
- Signal transmission: cable
- Interface: HTL via UTI 150
- Recommended probing speed: ≤ 1 m/min
- Protection: IP68 when connected
- Operating temperature: 5 °C to 54 °C
- Storage temperature: -20 °C to 70 °C
- Supply via UTI 150: DC 10 V to 30 V, ≤ 85 mA without load
- Electrical connection: two-pole sliding contact on the mounting base
- Cable length: ≤ 25 m
- Deflection: ≤ 5 mm in all directions with a 40 mm stylus
- Mass without taper shank: approximately 0.1 kg
Mounting and configuration
Mounting bases are available with an M22x1 thread, three M3 screws or four M3 screws, each with an axial cable outlet. An optional touch-probe extension uses an M16x1 thread. Select the mounting base, stylus, cable and UTI 150 interface to suit the machine.
Pressure sensors generate the trigger signal through force analysis. Low probing forces limit the effect on the measured workpiece.
The trigger output and its inverted signal are square-wave signals. A floating trigger output is also provided. Match the complete interface and machine connection before choosing a replacement.
