HEIDENHAIN TS 760 High-Accuracy Workpiece Touch Probe
The HEIDENHAIN TS 760 is a wireless workpiece touch probe for setup and in-machine measurement on milling machines and machining centers. Selectable radio or infrared transmission connects the probe to a compatible transceiver. Request a quote with your machine, control, tool holder and existing receiver details.
Technical Data
- Probe accuracy: ≤ ±1 µm with the T434 standard stylus at a probing speed of 500 mm/min
- Probing repeatability: 2 σ ≤ 0.25 µm for repeated probing from one direction
- Signal transmission: selectable radio or infrared, with 360° emission to the transceiver
- Interface: HTL or EnDat 2.2 via the transceiver
- Protection: IP68
- Recommended probing speed: ≤ 1 m/min
- Probing force: approximately 1.5 N axial and 0.2 N radial
- Operating temperature: 5 °C to 54 °C
- Power supply: two batteries, 1 V to 4 V each, size 1/2 AA or LR1 via the supplied adapter
- Mass without taper shank: approximately 0.2 kg
Features and configuration
The TS 760 combines high probing accuracy with low probing forces for workpiece measurement. Integrated jets can clear chips using purge air or lubricant when the machine is equipped for this function. The T434 standard stylus is used for the stated accuracy.
Works with
- SE 661 or SE 660 for radio and infrared transmission
- SE 640 for infrared transmission
- SE 540 for infrared transmission with integration in the spindle head
The transceiver, interface and tool-holder configuration must match the machine and control. EnDat operation uses the SE 661.
