HEIDENHAIN ERA 700 / ERA 800 Series Scale-Tape Angle Encoders
The HEIDENHAIN ERA 700 and ERA 800 series are incremental modular angle encoders made of a scanning unit and a one-piece steel scale tape (up to 30 m), mounted on the inside diameter (ERA 700) or outside diameter (ERA 800) of a machine element. Full-circle and segment versions were available. Legacy series: they are no longer listed in HEIDENHAIN's current modular angle encoder catalog. Ask AMI about repair, replacement or sourcing for your exact unit; availability and the right replacement path are confirmed before quoting. This page does not claim stock.
