HEIDENHAIN IK 220 PC Counter Card
The HEIDENHAIN IK 220 is a two-axis signal converter for computer-aided measured-value acquisition. This PC counter card fits a free PCI slot and connects two encoders with sinusoidal signals or EnDat 2.1 / SSI interfaces. It subdivides sinusoidal signals, stores position values and passes them to the computer for further processing.

Computer and software compatibility
The current catalog specifies Windows 7 drivers and demonstration programs for 32-bit and 64-bit systems, with Windows 10 64-bit software available by download. Example programs cover Visual C++, Visual Basic and Borland Delphi. Confirm the operating system, available PCI slot, encoder interface and required software before ordering. PCI Express and Windows 11 compatibility are not specified in this catalog.
External latch inputs, latch outputs and encoder-signal output require the appropriate accessory cable assemblies. Access time for serial interfaces depends on the connected encoder.
