The HEIDENHAIN LIDA 201 is an incremental exposed linear encoder (reflected light) with an AURODUR steel scale tape, 100 µm grating period, large installation tolerances, and measuring lengths up to 2040 mm. Reference marks every 50 mm are possible, activated by selector magnets.
