Application notes
Choose the PWM 3000 for deeper encoder diagnosis at the bench or on an operating machine. It can connect directly for functional checks, or sit in the closed control loop for real-time inspection. With HEIDENHAIN ATS software, it supports encoder detection and adjustment; EnDat online diagnostics are available where the encoder interface supports them. Its Ethernet connection links to a PC. The testing setup and ATS options depend on the job.
Compatibility: This is not a universal plug-in tester for every cable and control. Match the encoder's exact ID and interface, any needed adapter/cable, ATS software option and whether you need direct or inline measurement.
